SOUTHERN WOODS NURSERY
The objective with the Southern Woods project was to improve the website design and user experience while improving the integration of their e-commerce website with their inventory management and accounting systems for a more effective and automated end-to-end online retail solution.

Established in 1987, the nursery produces millions of trees across 500 species every year. Their 7.5ha site features a purpose-built plant centre, display gardens and customers can buy all things gardening both online and instore.
Launch Site
Our large plant nursery has been in business for over 25 years, and our original website, although extremely popular and functional, didn’t meet our needs when it came to self-access. We needed a website that we could update ourselves and being a strong sales channel for our business Limelight developed a robust eCommerce solution to meet our requirements whilst also integrating the website with our MoneyWorks accounting software.
Being a complex site, with a huge search function, we were understandably nervous about re-inventing the entire site to bring it into the 21st century and have complete control of the data within it but after comparing three website companies, we chose to go with Limelight Online due to both rapport and the clarity of their quote.
Suzanne project-managed for us from start to finish, and we’d like to emphasise how easy she was to work with. She and the design and support team took our concerns and our requests on board, and were extremely obliging, considering the scope of the job.
